St. George Utah Golf Courses


St George, Utah offers some of the best golf courses in the region. There are fifteen courses in the St George area and Entrada at Snow Canyon is one of many courses that is worth a quick review. The second tee at Entrada is a very challenging hole is surrounded by water. From the third tee you can see toward the downtown area of St. George Utah. Entrada has six holes that offer water hazzards, six holes that are edged or surrounded by lava, and six holes with grassy terrain. The views from every hole at Entrada offer breathtaking views, and the greens and fairways have PGA Tour-like speeds. From the black tees Entrada offers advanced golfers a tour caliber of difficulty. Playing from the white and blue tees is still a very challenging experience. Entrada offers a full driving range, snack-bar and dining facilities.

Another Saint George golf course that is high on the popularity list is Coral Canyon Golf Course. This championship course is found at freeway exit 16. Coral Canyon also offers a world class clubhouse and full driving range, and features a professional instructor to improve your golf game. The course offers wonderful contrasts of green fairways and red sandstone formations and the views that surround you are simply magnificent. The fairways are well cared for and greens are fast. This course will test your every skill as a player.

Sunbrook Golf Course, on the western edge of St. George, is a 27 hole golfer's paradise. One section of the course, called The Point is is an easier nine holes, and this is where you'll want to obtain your low scores because the other eighteen have very few scoring holes. Woodbridge is a 9 hole course that offers the only island par three green within the state of Utah. The next set of nine holes is Blackrock which plays through sections of lava. Sunbrook over views of the Green Valley community and distant panoramas of Snow Canyon State Park and Pine Mountain.

St. George Golf Club is a 7217 yard course from the gold tees. This par 73 course is long and it definitely is noticeable. For long hitters the front side of the course has several long par threes and three par fives that are reachable in two shots. The back nine gets long and quick. This side only has two par fives, but has two par threes over water.
